BioI was born and my parents put me in a basket and sent me down the river, where I drifted for about 2 years until a tap-dancing hobo found me, and taught me to dance.
When I was 3, the hobo (who I had grown to love) sent me off to the streets to make money tap-dancing.....in the streets.
After I turned 14, he betrayed me, and I was sent to kill him by "tapping" him to death. When the usual dance-off failed to shake him, I did what I must. In the middle of a third time step, I tripped the old man and shuffled on his throat til it was no more. He cried as he took his last breath and said to me, "I always knew.....that if anyone could ....shuffle another man's throat out, it.....it was you, Amber.......thank...you....for making an old man happy."
A few years later I looked back on the incident. Somehow, instead of feeling guilty, I felt calm and proud. I hadn't let him down. I had only been the cause of his demise.
